Hello! My name is Rafael. Sorry for my bad english! I have Nokia Lumia 925 already 2 weeks. I'm not impressed frim the battery life. I unplug from the charger at 10:30 and plug it at 20:00. Is that normal? I have stoped the background process. With that use, is that normal? Today i haved unplug it at 12:00 and the battery even doesn't withstand to the end of the day (for me end of the day means wen i go to sleep). Can you help me? Thanks and again sorry for my bad english.

That sounds normal if you use it all day and have the brightness up. Even my 1520 needs a charge at the end of a day with all the use I put it through.

Actually I was worried about it too. But I noticed that using LTE/4G connection the battery didnt last more than 10 hours.

Check your settings: NFC - off, BT - off and to be clear about apps, just allow the apps that you really need to run in background

Hope it helps you.

Thanks, but everything is off. I don't use 2G/3G/4G. I have turned of NFC, BT, Glance off, Double tap off, Location off. :(

In my experience (4G and WiFi always ON)

Stand by: 2~3% by hour
Light or moderate user: 5~7% by hour
Heavy user: 10~18% by hour
Gamer: +25~35% by hour

I have a Lumia 925 for almost a year. I'm on my second now.

How? U mean that when you use 1 hour with heavy use, u lost only 10-18%? I lose 10% for 30 min with moderate use...

If in these 30 minutes the screen is always ON, that's pretty normal battery drop. A very good performance, indeed.

Bingo! The only thing reasonably objective is to use a good battery monitor and note what the hourly discharge rate is. The old fluctuating battery usage from the original 8 way back is still with us, even though improved. On standby, I can use as little as 1%/hr, most often 3%, and sometimes 5%. That's with 4G, wifi, Cortana, and Glance always on.

It is true, anyway Cortana is not that bad, I have Cortana active all day and I have to charge phone each 8 hours
