For those of us that are short on on board memory (HTC 8S especially), is anyone else noticing the trend that more and more developers are requiring their apps to be installed on the phone only? ie. App not allowed to be installed on the SD card?
I'm on an 8XT (8GB) and the ability to run apps from the SD card has allowed me to try, buy and use more apps than I ever could have on WP 8.0. It's been awesome.
Glympse just did it, Tapatalk just changed as well. There are a few more that I've had to move over as well.
Is this just the tip of the iceberg that will eventually render apps on the SD card a nice, but useless feature?
Does anyone know why an app like Tapatalk would think they need to be on phone memory only? (I could see Glympse possibly needing to sit closer to the GPS chip for performance?...maybe...)
