WP 8.1 taking up 3gb

Hi I have a Lumia 520 and my os size on the phone is 3gb which is a bit too much, dont u agree?
Is yours the same?

The system is using 2,33GB on my Nokia Lumia 925 running WP 8.1, so kinda the same as you.

Mine is taking up 2.7gb exactly, on lumia 520 ... Damn it why :/

Ok I did a soft reset and cleared all the caches and it dropped down to 2.49

Start installing all the OEM system apps and see that size increase, either way it shouldn't really matter anymore since apps can now be installed on the microSD card
