WP 8.1 Update and Authenticator?

I use the Microsoft authenticator app on my Windows Phone 8 phone.
And I was wondering if, when Windows Phone 8.1 rolls out, if it will break the authenticator with the services I have it linked to for two-step authentication?
Or will i be fine to just update and continue using it like normal?
