Probably because they're the only WP phones in the store. I've been to 3 different BBs here in Miami and there isn't a single WP except the prepaid 521s.
I'll have to look around here and see. I haven't been to a BB in months, since I tend to buy electronics and accessories for electronics online (and not from BB's online store).

You mean you don't use BB as your electronics showroom? Shame on you!

I usually just use Firefox as my electronics showroom. I'll browse Amazon.com, Newegg.com and TigerDirect.com. I usually don't have to see and touch products in person to buy them.

We have several Tigers here and the main store is off limits unless my wife comes with me. Yes, it's that dangerous.

We don't have any actual brick and mortar Tiger stores here. I'd be in those stores all the time if they were here!

Tiger started here about 10-12 years ago and they grew very quickly. Every time I see "quick" growth like that in Miami my first thought is usually suspect cash infusion, if you know what I mean. They bought out CompUSA about 3 years ago so there may be one near you. Just make sure the Visa stays home. :-)

The 521 is now being sold at BB for $84.99 under the MetroPCS label. Obviously a re-badged T-Mo unit since the package includes a SIM card. Can't help but wonder if this may cannibalize T-Mo prepaid sales. Not that it matters since it's all under one roof now.

All things considered, this is an absolute steal for a smartphone. Only problem I saw is that they were all the way at the bottom of the peg hook display.
