Hi guys, I need a really big help...
Today I tryed a Windows 10 Tech. preview.. But it is so buggy for my lumia 630, so a wanted to roll back to 8.1 with that Recovery tool... But.... After i tryed it (I did not disconnect the cable...) but during the installation it was rebooting, and then...it shows... Operation failed...
I can not turn my lumia... it shows yust a NOKIA and then red screen with a Icon of rolling back... But it seems that my os was deleted, and now I cant install it back... When i try it with recovery toool, it shows me (not reinstall) but install software... ad than the same problem... After few % of installation it reboots and all failed.... Please help me... What to do???

This is the very reason Microsoft didn't want just everyone to install technical preview on their phones! Sorry I am no help here. Retry with a different cable maybe?

A little more information would be helpful.

1) Which recovery tool did you use?
2) Did you try using the usb cable supplied with the phone (it is a factory cable)?

I used recovery tool that i downloaded from the article here: Roll back to WP 8.1...
No I hve lumia 630 so there is no cable with.... I use cable from nokia: type : CA-101D
And news... Now I can not even turn my phone on.... Hell

Same thing happened to me with a 520 after using WPRT . My phone is not showing anything. Maybe NaviFirm+ can help you.

I tried to connect my phone to PC, and I tried all recovery softwares... But phone does not reacts... Nothing... I can not tur it on... nothing :(

There are reasons why they put such strong warnings with the tech. preview. And there are also reasons why there are warnings against installing this on your main device.

Hopefully you can find a way to reinstall. Have you tried contacting Microsoft through the proper channels and seeing If they could assist?

ive tried windows phone recovery tool and my phone stopped at 3% and stopped responding on red screen. so i disconnected usb cable. pulled out the battery and insert again and try lumia recovery tool. it stopped at 1%. i disconnected and did the battery thing again and it goes up to 2% windows recovering. every percent it stops and i do it again. so im on 33% now. it seems working but i didnt recover my phone yet. do this trick before your battery ran out and i will tell you the result if my phone recovered or not.
