wp7 battery?

There's an option for a bigger battery? And in the data settings if if I switch to cdma from global would that save battery too?
I guess I didn't see this post right away.
I'm betting that if you disable global roaming it will help out your energy usage, especially if you are in a weaker signal area.

I have 13 hours since charge on my Arrive and it says 71%(18 hours) remaining.

Today has been only text, brief phone calls, email, and smart DJ in the car(mostly songs I don't have on the phone). When I play games for a couple hours I still make it to the end of the day with 30% or so left.

I have used airplane mode once so far today but it's to keep it from heating up in my pocket trying to get signal out of the college building.

Battery life is great for me. Surprised it doesn't die faster with all the information that comes through

Try disabling the location services. Also, if you have a poor cellular or data connection it will draw more power. Especially if you are hopping from one tower to another.
You said this is your second battery? Are you confident that the replacement is an OEM battery? Verizon could possible have a crappier version for replacements.
Sometimes it is just the equipment's fault. There is always a bad one every so often.

That would be me with the second battery. As far as I know the battery is an oem replacement. I understood the guy went in the back and took one out of another phone. I've got another phone on the way so hopefully the new one does better.
