As a daily reader of WPCentral, I wonder why there is no side by side comparison between WP7 devices and WP8 ones.
For instance, I have no clue how well my Omnia 7 (which takes really great pictures, people always think I took them with my camera while I did not...) compares to, say, a Lumia 620. Is it worth the shift?
Well, you could argue I still can test by myself, but the point is that we don't have many shops with Windows Phones in Lyon (France), all we can find here are some HTC 8S or 8X along with some L820/920... No entry level or mid range devices, no Samsung Ativ S to test for real. And even if there were, I would not be able to test the camera in real conditions (taking pics inside the shop not being considered as such ^_^).
I think many people would be interested ; many criteria could be used to determine how to lead the comparison (screen resolution / size / readability, battery, global performance, solidity...).
Anyway, keep up the good work WPCentral guys
