WP8.1 or device problem?

Until today (or possibly yesterday) whenever I connected my Lumia 925 to my Windows 8.1 PC it would automatically open the Windows Phone app on the PC, and display 'On Your Phone' 'In the Store' and 'On the Web'.

However now it no longer displays 'On your Phone'.

Anyone else experienced this? Is it a WP8.1 issue, a device issue or an app issue?

Any clues? Solution?

I believe there was a recent update to the sync utility for WP from Microsoft.
Perhaps reinstalling on the desktop will bring it back.
WP Sync
