WPCentral App Keeps Resetting

The WPCentral app keeps resetting as if it is a fresh install.
It logs me out of comments and forums (why do we have to login in to both anyway?).
All settings get reset, loses whether I want screen orientation lock, system tray, etc.


Happens every 3-4 weeks. Happened on my L900 and my replaced L900. I can't find a common link, except it seems to do it when the live tile acts up and says there are 19+ new article (which there are never more than 5-6, :wink. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi CJ, it's something in the OS which deletes all the app's IsolatedStorage settings, I've not been able to nail it down just yet. I'll try and spend some time having an attempt, but it's very difficult when the issue has never occurred for me

Interesting, ok. I wonder how it is happening to me. L900 issue? Other apps messing with storage?

Just did it again today.

This time I woke up with no activity on the live tile, thought that was odd, open app, 5 new articles or so. All settings reset and logged out of forum and comments.

It did it to me last weekend on the kindle app. Had to put all my details in again and sync my books.

i was sat reading game if thrones. Put it down for 1hr came back and the live tile for the book had vanished. I launched the kindle app and it was reset, no details, no books, nothing.

Got the dreaded black live tile too today, clicked it, refreshed, gone away. My phone has acted perfect in every app/game. Very odd.

I am only talking about the WPCentral app, not the Kindle app, hence this post in the WPCentral feedback forum. You need to hit up Amazon. I doubt anyone here could help you with your issue.
