Item Description: You are looking at the jewel of the DV8P world. Yes, you have before your very eyes the fabled red Dell Venue 8 Pro. I've read that only three of these were made, and that they were raised by fairies and goats in a perpetually green field near the western coast of Ireland. Ok...so all that was not true, except for the fairies. I'm pretty sure that part of the story is real. ha ha

So, let's just look through the pictures, relax a bit, and take in the beauty of this tablet for a moment. Yes..yes....great isn't it? Ok...now snap out of it.

This beautiful, red DV8P is in fine, fine condition. There are no marks on the screen or back of the device. There is, however, one little scratch on the edge of the aluminum casing at the top right of the device when held in landscape mode. It's tiny, but it's there. I'm not even sure how it got there. Must have been the fairies.

Price: $95.00

Carrier Locked or Unlocked?: N/A

Condition: Very good condition. Plus, it was made by fairies in Ireland, however, I cannot confirm this.

Includes: Tablet and charger. Sadly, the box has long since abandoned me. You also get a cool little gel style case and a nylon sleeve. And who doesn't love nylon sleeves??? :) One more thing...you get the Active Stylus as well. Yes, this active stylus is the one that actually works. Hooray!

Item Location: Rogers, AR

Shipping Details: Free USPS Priority Mail

Payment Options: PayPal Gift

Additional Info: Remember...made by fairies, however I cannot confirm this. ha ha It's also red. Red is bold. Be bold!

Photos: See attached. I tried to get the little scratch on the aluminum to show up in one of the pictures. I also added some hotdogs for no reason whatsoever. :)

Ok....so, I did some research, and found that the Red DV8Ps were not, in fact, made by fairies. Kinda bummed out about that. However, I did discover that the concept for the DV8P, specifically the Red variant, was the brainchild of members of the early '90s hair band, Trixter. So, in honor of them, I pledge to listen to their smash hit single, "Give it to Me Good" on repeat until I get a buyer. Yeah! Rock on!!!!

Oh, and the price has been dropped to $85.00.

Well, I tried, but I simply cannot listen to that song anymore. I'm moving on to a more rockin' tune. In fact, I called up the doctor, and he said that the Red DV8P is where it's at....but only with a dropped price of $75.00.

Hi, I will take it if it's still available, would you ship it to Canada? It's right above the states, very close.

How long has it been since you bought it?

Thanks!

I'll have to look at shipping costs to Canada. I'll message you once I get a good about cost. What part of Canada would this be going to?

I've had it at least a year...maybe more. It's been with me for a while. I really couldn't give you an exact answer.

Thanks for the interest. I'll be in touch.

The hot dogs are gonna be a tough sell. I might be flexible on the DV8P's price, but the price of the dogs is non-negotiable...firm at $6.13 for the three. That includes the prices of the buns, the generous amounts of ketchup and mustard, and the Hot Hands I'll need to shove in the package to keep everything warm. :)
However, if you purchase the DV8P at the suggested price above, I'll throw in the hotdogs for free*.

*To any potential buyers: I will include a Sonic gift card with this sale as a bonus that will cover the cost of an Extra Long Coney with Cheese Meal (or whatever you might want from Sonic). :)

Well, I looked at shipping to Vancouver, and it's quite pricey. I tried a variety of different shipping options, but they were all more than I'd like to spend. There were some cheaper options (in the $20 range), but I'd be concerned about the safety of the tablet spending all that time in the postal service on its way to you...the cheaper the option, the slower and riskier the journey. The last thing I'd want to happen is for you to get a damaged device. I apologize and appreciate your offer, but I'd really just like to keep the shipping in the US. I hope that you understand. I appreciate the offer and the time you spent sending it.

Mods, It's been fun, but would you mind closing this thread. I'm sending the non-fairie made, brainchild of Trixter DV8P to eBay.

Thanks. :)
