Xb1 controller charger/battery for XB1S controller?

Hi, can I using XB1 charge and play kit for XB1S controller? Currently I'm using AA battery for playing, and I'm playing on my PC via Bluetooth. So does the rechargeable battery on XB1 compatible with XB1S controller?

If you have the official Charger battery i think you can.

I recently picked up an Xbox One S and all my old accessories work with the controller. Aside from the new sleek design and some internal changes, the controller's form hasn't massively changed.
