Xbox enabled games not working 14942 (Not access denied issue)

So I upgraded to 14942 and tried to launch Forza Horizon 3 yesterday to get the Access denied error for Xbox.

I applied the registry fix and rebooted the PC. Xbox app works fine now, as do some other things that use Xbox login.

However when I launch Forza 6 Apex/Forza Horizon 3/Halo 5 Forge, it gets to the point where it would normally sync data/load my cloud save and the game just crashes to the desktop.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Same issue here as well. Even after running the fix to login to XBox Live, most apps (Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War 4) refuse to load past the loading screen (they just crash) with the error: Faulting module name: Windows.Gaming.XboxLive.Storage.dll in the Event Log (Event ID 1000). Here's hoping they get this sorted quick!

Quick follow up: I manually started the Xbox Live services via the Services Control Panel item. That seems to have resolved my issue--for now! Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Apex are working--re-downloading the 80GB install of Gears 4 and will report back when I've tested that.

No dice on Gears of War 4--getting a remote procedure called failure (and it appears I'm not alone--many others on this build are having the same issue). I'll tinker around but I bet we'll have to wait for the next build.
