Xbox Game Pass Core makes the 'console tax' more obvious than ever

On the Xbox side, its pay more for less. On the applications side, its pay forever for decades old software with only the thinnest slimy veneer of "services".

"Xbox console players have increasingly shared frustrations and disappointment surrounding the perceived lack of attention for dedicated Xbox hardware."

Xbots are delusional as ever- it's sort of like that study where they give on kid more cookies and everyone else noticeably less, but then take one cookie from the "rich" kid and he whines about theft. The difference is that PC gamers were treated second class, now we are equal, roughly speaking. And then suddenly Xbox owners whine they are second class? Give me a break.

the only actual issue, and this is entirely new, is that MP is in core, but upgrading the GP console regular then removed MP - that makes no sense - MP should pushed into all GP tiers, and then there is no issue or "boo hoo MS cares more about PC gamers".

Like, prior to core - you had no leg to stand on. Oh the MP thing? Well that stuff is generally free here, so of course they cannot make you pay over here on PC (remember, they tried, and it failed anyway).

Anyway, given a holistic look, even given MP free on PC and console GP not including MP bundled, acting like the console crowd is second class to the PC crowd is just ****** fantasies. If you guys don't feel like the entire focus, you whine. But my dollars thrown at MS are worth as much as yours, and I also didn't buy a loss leader console (which, actually, makes me better for MS in comparison).

no, all of the prices are the same, you just get more for $10 on PC - thats not more for less, its less for the same.

Also you characierzation of MS's other software is laughable at best.
