Xbox Cloud Gaming is given as proof of Xbox abandoning the console market, but the service is literally entirely run on Xbox Hardware. For any game to run on Xbox Cloud Gaming, it has to first run on Xbox consoles. As mentioned when XCloud becomes its own proper platform with buying and playing from your library, we should see tons more dev support for Xbox overall. This is also again why I think the best thing Xbox can do is continue to push Xbox Play Anywhere until developing for the Xbox Launcher on PC and Xbox consoles is near seamless (like most of the work is done automatically and devs just have to optimize). Expansion doesn't mean abandonment. If Xbox can capture more users through Cloud Gaming in places like India and PC in places like South Korea and China and probably even mobile (just everywhere) down the line and make a seamless ubiquitous ecosystem (or at least easier to develop between), we'll see more support overall. Developers will want to develop for these platforms to meet (sell to) more gamers and Xbox can say "hey, all our platforms basically use the same infrastructure. If you want to be on this one, why not take a little bit extra time to be on all of them?"
