Anyone know why you can't lead with a numeric value? WTF! That really grinds my gears!

A lot of companies do that... I remember someone telling me why, but I forget.

Isn't Gmail and Live mail the same?

I know with Gmail I lead off with a 1. Someone told me in the past but I forgot too.

just checked... gmail does allow it.

tried with live, but no success.
