XBOX Music, the reality.
Look, I know it's a bit late to post about this, there's so many complaints but I just wanted to get rid of my anger.
I'm very disappointed by this built-in player. One main thing consumer (specifically music lovers like me) considers when buying a phone is the questions "Does it have a great music player?" or "Can it play music smooth?"
I enjoyed WP8 and satisfied my needs when it comes to playing music (with the Music+Videos)
It's reliable and smooth. But the only thing it doesn't have is to create a playlist, it's okay for me because I still can create that with my PC.
I thought it'll be more wonderful on the WP8.1 but it became a nightmare for me. After updating my phone to 8.1, I checked the new built in music app first, the Xbox Music. It loaded my songs very slow. Then the smoothness on the old music app disappeared in this new app. The buttons are very small and the UI of the app is very f***cking dull. Everytime I open the app, it keeps on loading songs and when creating a playlist, it will delete the songs inside the playlist after a while (IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF SONGS). The other thing is, it doesn't show any Album Art. I deleted my songs and transfer it again to hope it'll fix the problem but it just stays the same. I've tried it several times but nothing happened. The Album Art of the songs is showing up in Nokia Music and in the Windows Phone app so I don't know how to fix this anymore.
I waited and hoped that they'll improve the app and fix this issues after a couple of weeks. But until now, with its latest update, it's still very ******* disappointing. I play songs on a regular basis that's why I need a good built in music app that can impress me, not to disappoint me. (Well I didn't include about the Xbox Video coz I don't use it)
I love the WP8.1 and its all of its improvements except this crappy thing. Sometimes I thought about switching into a new phone because of this. Well I guess you know what I mean looking to the other OS's music player.
If only I could be a part of the team. Lol.
Well if you read my opinion, thanks. Hope that Microsoft will redesign this thing and make it smooth&reliable ASAP.
