Xbox one region specific

Hi a friend of mine who visited the uk wants to buy an Xbox one. His question is if he buys the Xbox one UK version, will he be able to set his region as USA (where he lives) and would purchasing USA physical disc cause any issues? Ice not being read or in the correct "format" for the usa

Yeah it should all work, I'm in the UK and change my region sometimes to get games that I can't get here yet, only thing that he might need to do is get a USA power supply for it due to the difference in the voltage here
