As can be obtained from the title, I cannot connect my controller to my pc. I hold the pair button on the controller, the xbox sign starts flashing, the controller shows up in Bluetooth devices, I try to pair, a message appears asking for a passcode. I tried the standard 0000, didn't work. Left it blank, the controller then pairs, and is shown as connected, but the light keeps flashing, and the controller doesn't show up in the xbox accessories app. After a while, the controller stops trying to pair, and it disappears from the list of connected bluetooth devices.

Edit : I forgot to mention that I have updated the controller firmware.

did you check to see if there is a bluetooth driver update for the PC?

you don't mention what kind of computer or OS.

If it's from an OEM, like Dell or HP, check toheir drivers page on their site to see if there is a newer bluetooth driver available.

The same thing happened to me. I suspect my dongle is old, or just crappy. I have two (I got one for free, go figure). I should try with a newer dongle that supports 4.0, low-energy and all that stuff, I guess.

Is there a way to know what are the specs of a plugged bluetooth dongle?
