Xbox one updates?

Hi all - I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. New to Xbox one, I just received a system update today but I have no idea what is included in the update. I had already received the November system updates, any ideas where I can find update info?

Also how are apps updated, do they receive there own independent updates or are those updates rolled into a system update?

Apps receive their own updates. Within the XBOX One settings you can set them to 'automatically' update without your need to approve the start of the download.

You'll know an app (or game) has an update when there is an asterisk in the top right corner of the app/game icon (though games I think might have a controller and + next to them, not sure).

Not sure what was in the update, but you can usually check at Blog - Xbox Live's Major Nelson or news.xbox.com
