Yahoo mail not working

I don't know if it is a microsoft thing or a yahoo issue but I keep getting this error stating my password not saved and I don't know if my mail is getting through. Any fixes out there? I am going to try to route my email thru windows live but who knows?

Haven't had any issues with Yahoo. Maybe delete the account from your phone & restart it?

I had to delete the default yahoo mail account and install using other email setting, I had only missed 168 messages, ouch! I think it is a yahoo thing, they have had problems with wp7 from the beginning.

I am having this *exact* same issue! Yahoo told me my account was compromised (when I accessed it from my computer) and I needed to change my password.

I changed my password on my phone and it still says that it cannot access my account! I have deleted, re-installed, restarted....every sort of combination I can think of to get this working again. But nothing has worked.

If you find or have found a fix, please let me know! My yahoo is one of my main accounts and I'm at a loss without in on my phone

While you work on a fix you may want to contact Yahoo email help and MS simultaneously. Between the 2 of them you may get an answer more quickly.

Someone tried to hack your account and Yahoo! disabled access to it. Go to a PC, log out of all Yahoo! services, then go to mail.yahoo.com and log back into your email. Also, I'd go to settings on your device and make sure your login is communicated by SSL (it isn't by default). This will get your Yahoo! working again.

Aside from using excess data till about mid-February (when they fixed it) my Yahoo account has been flawless on my phone since early January. Anywhere from 20-50 messages a day.
