Yaro was already at 75 infraction points, so any further infraction was going to get him/her banned. This post triggered that:

However, based on the vulgar language in this particular post, I felt 25 points were too mild, also because he was a repeat offender. I felt a custom infraction was appropriate:

Inappropriate Language, 50 Points (instead of 25), expiration in 9 months (instead of 6).

I pondered if I'd be overstepping my boundaries here. I went to see if I could unearth other examples of such custom infractions and I could, so I went ahead. Would you folks say this was correct, or do we stick with 25 no matter how vulgar?

@Eric
You added another 50 infraction points to his account after he was already banned. Was this intended, or did we both infract him at the same time, leading to twice the infraction points that he would otherwise have received?

I entirely feel that he should be given time off. I don't think his recent posts as linked above are anything other than intentional bad mouthing. He needs to be sent a message that this kind of attitude isn't what's expected from WPCentral members. There are other forums who welcome such behaviour.

Re: Yaro da yaar handles correctly?

I agree. He had already received numerous infractions, and he has even sent rude PMs that were reported and received infractions.

Re: Yaro da yaar handles correctly?

I see the thread has been cleaned up. Personally, I think it's better being closed too, it's gone way of reservation with Android trash talking....

Re: Yaro da yaar handles correctly?

Thread closed. One more trash thread removed from the Trending Now list....

I simply went through and hit him with 50 points because he's basically looking to stir up trouble. I just infracted any offensive post I could find that wasn't already,
