That only applies to OEMs and large scale system builders not individual users... :winktongue:

Secondly, most CPUs have built-in TPM 2.0 either ftpm (Firmware Trusted Platform Module) or ptt (Platform Trust Technology).

This can be easily checked by using either the open source tool WhyNotWin11 - https://www.windowscentral.com/whynotwin11-app-check-windows-11-hardware or something like Speccy and cross referencing your CPU model with the specs on either AMDs or Intels website.

Then Checking the list of processors linked at the bottom.

Users do not need to deep dive into the bios to check settings at this point.

When the upgrade does roll out, only then certain settings will have to be manually turned on - this only applies to PCs upto this year. After next year, many of these settings will be turned on by default by the manufacturers due to O/S requirements.

Yes, download the W11 ISO from Microsoft then do a clean install with the bootable usb created using the media creation tool or rufus.
