Youtube under lockscreen

What happened to letting youtube videos play under the lock screen through the browser?

I've noticed that it stopped working on my L920 with WP8.1, trying out a new L950 with W10M it still doesn't work.

Has the function been stuffed by google or something?

Pretty good to use when listening to talks or music.

MyTube app plays videos under lock screen.

It's the best youtube client for Windows

Fair enough on mytube, I think I even have the app, but I wonder why it has stopped working all of a sudden in the browser?
