Zune pass question / confusion

I am enjoying my WP7 and in the music store saw a link for "try unlimited music". This took me to a zune pass signup which I did, provided credit card, choose subscription, etc. After signing up I am now setup with some type of 14 day trial of Zune pass and was ready to try my unlimited music!

Except I can't figure out how to actually use the unlimited music that was offered - in exchange for my credit card information.

I looked online and see videos of people holding down on the album, a menu popping up and options for Download and stream available in said menu. These do not appear for me - just "share" and "buy".

After searching around and finding conflicting information (does work in Canada, does not work in Canada and Requires 1 sync with PC, does not require a PC) I was hoping someone would clear this up for me.

From my point of view: My phone offered me a feature, I accepted and entered credit card information and committed to a subscription and now that the offer and committment has been made by me; the feature does not appear to actually exist.

Thanks for any help / experience you can offer!

Have you downloaded the Zune software to your PC? If not then I recommend installing the software, login, go to Settings > Account and make sure your Zune Pass is authorized to be used on your phone.

Hmmm, and if I literally do not own a single Windows PC? Has anyone gotten a WP to work with Zune pass without a Windows PC?

Sure thing. Using Zune Pass on Lumia 900. My laptop is Macbook so no relation. Activated in WP7, I see album and I can play right away or download to phone. Check your music and videos settings on the phone if you have Zune activated.

In "Settings -> Music+Videos" I have "Connect with Zune" turned On and "Include music from Marketplace in my Smart DJ mixes" checked. This was how it was set before I signed up for Zune Pass through my phone.

On a lark I just changed the setting from On to Off, left the menu, went back in and turned it from Off to On. Boom! Working!!

For future people searching:
- In Canada
- Without a Windows PC
- Signed up for Zune Pass through the Music+Videos marketplace
- (some time later) went into Settings->Music+Video, Disabled Zune, left menu, entered menu, Enabled Zune
- Now works

Thanks guys!

It would probably work after some time anyway. Some refresh needed. By the way, microsoft chaos is horrible. Xbox.com, zune.net, billing.microsoft.com, all these sites, such a chaotic and I have to say microsoft approach. I was recently re-activating my zune pass and I got some error message, no matter which site I used. I had to contact support, they gave me code for one month free to try to activate this way. Then I tried to change it to monthly paid service and again, on xbox.com and zune.net I ended up with the same error message. Billing.microsoft.com somehow passed through. Microsoft mess.
