No direct way.
I forward mine to Mail2Web, but it wont reply (you have to do a send/recieve in the gmail account to reply from that account).

There is an experimental imap idle service to get push imap, but the settings are a little raw, and it doesn't do a very good job of reconnecting if you lose data.

http://www.codeplex.com/ImapPusherService

Seven (beta) provides Gmail push for Windows Mobile devices:
http://community.seven.com/main.php

Oh you can also do it with flexmail (supports imap idle), but that's not free.

Out of all the solutions I've used so far, Exchange has been the fastest and most stable. It adds an extra step if I want to reply from a specific email address, but I've had maybe 2 days of downtime over the 2 years (or so) I've been using Mail2Web.

Wow, that hard just to get push gmail? Ask Kevin how he gets push email on his BB :p

This is copied from user "ekabe" in a comment to Rene's video preview of the fuze. I didn't feel like typing it all and he hit the nail on the head for someone just getting the phone.

"There are tons of things on this phone you will probably never discover for yourself so some tips….

Incoming calls can be silenced by facing the phone on its screen.

Pulling out the stylus while in a phone call will open up notes, and you can hand write notes.

There is a youtube app, hidden in windows folder.

You can run multiple programs at the same time. zomfg?

While viewing a photo, draw a clockwise circle around the part you want to zoom in on, counter-clockwise to zoom out.

World Business Card reader always fun to use.

Download skyfire or flash lite, Skyfire = full flash on every webpage.

The big button in the middle can scroll, as well as zoom in and out of webpages. It is also a dpad.

There are plenty more, such as different camera modes etc.

The phone has a built in FM radio and tv out. Both the .cab files to enable it are on xda-developers.

Hopes this helps. The reason why they have the sylus and a restive screen is because in asia people need the stylus to write the various different characters and need the accuracy of a resistive screen."

LOL!
Yeah well, MS is trying to boost Exchange, so whatchagunna do.

I can happily say though I've had far fewer down days with my free Exchange server than my wife has had with BIS (and when Exchange goes down I don't lose my browser - backatcha:p).

To save almost $400 a year on my cell bill I'll stick with the IMAP/Exchange combo.

Great list bvone21, but in defense of the BB platform, they wont really be impressed by the point made above. ;)

skyfire, it runs Hulu and that lets you access tons of free and legal tv shows and some decent full length movies. Nice app for the entertainment aspects. Also Starplyr, if you can get it to work is supposed to stream your Sirius and XM channels on your Fuze. TCPMP is a great free player for virtually all video formats. You get those three running on your Fuze and you have a lot of accessible free entertainment on a very capable work platform. Cuz

Thanks for all the advice and help guys. I AM coming to terms with the Fuze after a slow start.

My biggest gripe hasn't been with the OS at all...it's simply been a getting used to the touchscreen itself. After having used the capactive touchscreens on the Storm, G1 and iPhone I find this one to be really tricky. But I'm getting there.

Now..big question.. How do I do screen captures?!?!

PPT button re-map problem?

Can someone help with this issue?:

I recently re-mapped the PTT button on my Fuze (using a link from a Wiki site), and for a while I was quite happy. (I re-mapped it to Messaging.) But now, at least once a day or so, the "setting" for the ptt button disappears, and I have to go back into my Settings and re-set it. (The push-and-hold PTT button always stays, just the PTT one doesn't?) ANy idea how to fix this??

Thanks!
