Edge taking up over 2 GB

I can't download the newest build, because somehow my storage is full. I go to my storage settings and see that Edge is taking up over 2 GB!! Clearing every thing in Edge settings makes no difference. Any ideas? I'd prefer to not have to reset my phone.

do you have any downloads that you did from edge? Can you delete those? And can you try uninstalling some apps to clear space?

Does having a bunch (100) of tabs open count as space? I noticed on my wife's phone she had a ton of tabs open because she didn't know they stayed open after each use. I didn't notice if the size was affected, or not.

Yes this makes a difference, these are cached web pages. close all tabs, What device are you trying to install on to?
