No Jen Taylor in the UK

Why? To satisfy the small minority of Halo players? I don't play it, I know four others WP owners who don't game. It means nothing to the vast majority of people. I bet there's actually thousands of Halo players who have no idea who she is - it's only through this Cortana tie-in she's become more of a mainstream name. I thought she was a porn actress.

Best pick a recognisable voice to help promote the platform in the UK.

"Cortana with Jen Taylor!" - Who?
"Cortana with Sheryl Cole!" - I'll have a bit of that.

They might as well not even bother calling it Cortana, then. Which is actually pretty central to the whole attraction of its functionality so without it, who would actually care?

I'd rather have Cheryl (with a C) Cole than the piece of **** we have right now. I don't want Jen Taylor because of Halo but because her voice is being used to make Cortana not feel like a robot.

It was. The geeky tie in has been surpassed now. They've gone with that name and now it's known for what it is not what it was.

Besides, in the UK it should be called Cortina.

I can't live with the UK version so I've reverted back to the US region as Cortana is more functional.
