Mine crashes too on both RTM and the latest insider preview. Store starts to open then the window closes. Three different pcs with this problem (2 with RTM and one with preview). All were working earlier this week. I have tried all of the suggestions I could find on the net without success.
It's crashing on my W10 PC, but not on my 8.1 phones, so I think it's a Store issue. I noticed just before I had the problem it told me to sign in again with my credentials- don't know if it's related.
Right now I'm doing a system restore on my PC, but if it's the Store it won't help.
this is happening to me too, on 2 desktop pc's and on a lumia 630 with win 10 preview. prior to this problem I tried to install the 6tin update and i got a store error.
it's still 9/10 where I am, but yeah, all my windows 10 machines cannot open the windows store app. Store is probably down given the widespread nature. twitter is pretty active about it also.
Same here. All my PC's won't start the Store. I tried running the Troubleshooting Windows Update Wizard and the wsreset command and neither fix the issue. It has to be a server issue with it being so widespread..
tried all the methods from wpsreset to deleting appcache to powershell commands , none working so far. my mail and calendar apps are also not syncing properly dont know why :winktongue:
Found a solution for this. Go to C:>users>user_name>AppData>Local>Packages>Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe>Localcache. Delete all the files and folders in there.
Store doesn't even get past the splash screen for me, before it just gives up and quits.
Wait, I take that back, it does boot up to a WHITE screen with the title bar...and...that's it.
