Update Problems - Breaking WiFi

Hello,

My mum has recently had 3 updates force installed on her, and it installs the top one successfully, but fails on the lower 2. But once it has installed, then the WiFi breaks. Every time she restores it just forces the updates back on her. What can she do about it? This is Windows 10 Home, and an upgrade to Windows 10 Pro as well as reinstalling Windows 8 from scratch are out of the question (due to it being over a month since 10 was installed, and she has no way to make a 100GB backup)

Thanks
Daniel

Re: Update Problems - Breaking WiFi

Is it possible to get the WiFi drivers from the website of the PC manufacturer, rather than from Windows Update?
