Do windows OS allow downloading in background videos, files apps etc. in browser like UC etc.Do downloading gets going still if you move out of the app or close the app.
Like if you're downloding 1 Gig of movie on UC browser on android and still you move out of the app and minimize it the movie continues to download or even if you close the app the movie continues to download.Does Windows phone allow this?

So windows don't allow even basic background downloading after minimizing the browser like UC browser.
So you have to keep open the app while downloading a file.
You mean to say that i can not use simple whatsapp or youtube app simuntanously with UC browser app.
    Please explain it more briefly.
I was thinking to move to windows OS.But after hearing this please give me a break.

Well UC browser exists I believe so maybe that does background loading. But the regular browser doesn't. Perhaps someone knows about UC..
