Will Windows10 mobile be able to stream to Chromecast device? Perhaps using Miracast?

hi folks! We have a couple of iPhones in the house which cast to Chromecast no problem. I can cast to Chromecast via Chrome browser on my PC - but will this work on Windows10 mobile? either through Chrome browser or if thats not available, through Miracast?

Cheers!

If your Chromecast device supports DLNA or Miracast, then yes. If it does not, then no. Chromecast uses a proprietary standard invented by Google.

You will need an adapter device that supports Miracast, DLNA, or both. Some do Chromecast, Miracast, and DLNA, but not every device is cross compatible.

oooh thanks for that.. the question then becomes, will new windows mobile devices, or even my existing 535 mobile, support DLNA? Mind, I did read an article which argued that MS were trying to kill off DLNA in windows10? arrg...
