Why does Cortana try to crash every time I try to set one?

Cortana crashes every time i try to set one!!

i have tried talking, typing and navigating to reminders but it crashes everytime...is there a work around??
i am on wm10 10581

Try these in turn:

1) Soft reset
2) Hard reset
3) Going back to Windows Phone 8.1 by using the Windows Device Recovery Tool, get Cortana working there and then upgrade again.
