App like msn health and fitness

Does anyone knows app like msn health and fitness, and need to work without band. Need it for step count and distance covered.

The Microsoft Health app should work for that. (But it doesn't have a live tile, or integration with the lock screen.)

Tried it but can't find how to count steps and distance without band. Doesn't really matter to me to be on lock screen. I only want to measure my daily distance covered.

From the hamburger menu choose "My Phone" and then change the "Motion Settings" from Disabled to Enabled.

Which phone do you have? Is the "Lumia Motion Data" app up to date and working?

I do know that other apps, like Fitbit, are having problems detecting that the phone has Motion and that Microsoft is working on fixing it in the OS. So it is possible that you have run into that issue.

Made hard resets three times, then reverted to wp8.1 with wdrt and updated. Even hey Cortana works ok. Fitbit works, but I didn't satisfied with that app. I was very satisfied with msn health and fitness. I'll wait new year and next build , 11088.

So true. The geniuses at MS really knew what they were doing by discontinuing the best fitness app on the platform.
