This question goes out to any one who used WP 8.1 for a long time and is now on Windows 10 mobile (preferably not insider).
My original experience with cortana on 8.1 when it was fresh was very positive. I want to know what to expect from cortana on windows 10 mobile. So far my experience with her on w10 desktop is significantly worse than on wp8.1. Its so annoying that 90% of the time I should have just not bothered using it. My fear is that mobile will be just as bad.
Virtually every time I use Cortana on W10 desktop I get the error, something went wrong, try again in a little bit, or the internet and I aren't talking, try again in a little bit. What is your experience?
Generally I really like Cortana on 8.1 but I'm not ready to buy a new device yet even though my 1020 is becoming sluggish and problematic. Cortana feels like she's gone rampant. Even though on 8.1 it's "beta" I'm now more regularly gettnig the internet and I aren't talking, try again in a little bit messages. The most frustrating thing is that I get this a lot on reminders which isn't supposed to require internet.
I've been a pretty loyal WP fan since day one, and I'm nearing my breaking point. If we don't get any exciting hardware this year, and especially if cortana is still broken as ****, I'm probably going to switch to android as a daily driver. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if cortana works better on android at this point.
