Mobile Hotpsot

in windows phone 8.1 I used internet sharing feature to transfer files using wifi between my phone and pc. I'd just turn on mobile data nd then hotspot, and then immediately turn it off so that I don't use data but the hotspot stays on. but on windows 10 mobile they fixed that. when I turn mobile data off, the mobile hotspot also turns off. is there any other way to have a hotspot without using data connection??

No, there's some 3rd party app in Store but I don't know their name

Try that, the first I found on google: Wi-Fi File Sharer. You'll better check yourself in store for Win10 apps, now I cant, sorry

I have used that. it can only share files over an existing Wi-Fi network. thanks for the help though. I will search more

found out a windows 10 app its called 'Airy Transfer' It still needs an existing Wi-Fi, but works like charm. no more browser related stuff
