Today I tried having NFC tags open up certain apps, and unfortunately, it did not work. It wrote the tag, but the phone just wouldn't do anything.

Is NFC broken in windows 10?

Having the same problem with my 640 (10586.318). I have five different NFC apps on my phone, and I can't use any of them to launch specific apps. Some apps launch, but other like Alarms, Photos or OneNote don't do anything. My guess is because they're new W10m apps, and the W10m apps have all new and different appIDs.

All of the NFC apps that I use (NFC interactor, NFC Commander, NFC toolkit, NFC Launchit, etc.) all look and still function like they're designed for WP8.1. Guess we just gotta wait for a proper W10m NFC programming app.

Nikon Coolpix s9900 with NFC, tapping the phone (950xl, 640 both w10m) does nothing. =( Old samsung galaxy handled the connection no sweat?

Is it nfc problem or problem with the phone not understanding what the NFC on the camera is doing? I thought NFC was for simple quick BT transfers in this case... so a photo.

get your 640 back on 8.1 and I bet it works better than that galaxy
