How to have device connect to stronger wifi signal?

I'm sure that this isn't a Windows 10 Mobile issue, as it happens on my iPhone, but is there a way to have the device automatically connect to the Wifi connection with a greater signal? My parents have an extension in their house to boost the wifi, which obviously the strength varies based on where you are in the home. It's irritating that it will not automatically switch to the greater signal when moving around the house.

Is this a possibility?

That is called a "seamless handoff". Nothing does this, on the device or network side. There are gimmicks, but no true handoff. Best bet is to turn wifi off, then back on. Provided you have the proper credentials for the stronger signal network, it will grab it.
