Is there any way to run Android or iOS Apps in Windows Phone 10?

is there any way to run android or ios apps in windows phone 10 ?

I have been with windows phone from its inception, but the lack of apps is starting to become an issue, especially since so many companies, conferences and events create apps to facilitate interaction and they almost never create a windows phone app. I never cared about the app store but in this case as the apps are exploding, windows needs to allow running other platform apps otherwise it is hard to justify having a windows phone.

Welcome to Windows Central.

Such a thing is not possible, unfortunately. You'll need to look for 3rd-party apps or contact the developers and request Windows 10 Mobile versions.

I suggest you read the recent articles about the fact that 90% of apps people spend time in being on the platform already. You're never going to run Android apps on Windows Mobile unless mobile becomes x86 at which point existing emulators might run. If you have critical Android apps you need then Android is best for you. For best camera and security, Windows it's great. And note, many apps are being released almost daily... now desktop has the store.

There is currently no way for anyone to get those builds if they don't already have them and so many who did have them updated beyond that ability.

So in effect what you've said is a time machine is needed.

also those builds had their own share of issues and shortcomings that make staying on them a bit impractical

IMHO killing Astoria, or whatever it was called, was MS's biggest mistake to date. Their phone plans are perpetually focused 2 years in the future, on an endlessly receding target. Being able to run Android apps now would at least maintain their shaky foothold in the market.
