Touching buttons with face while talking on phone

If I have to talk on the phone while holding it to my ear I find that 'buttons' sometimes get activated if the screen touches my cheek. I'll be talking then realize that I've accidentally put someone on hold or something. Has anyone else experienced that? I have a 640 running Win10 .456

make sure your ear covers the proximity sensor at all times, if you wave your hand over your screen while on call you can see how the screen goes black when you cover that sensor, learn how to keep it covered while on call, nothing else can be done really, you can lock the phone but it will keep turning on the screen if the sensor stops being blocked

Ok thanks. I generally try to use an earbud, or if I'm in the car I use Bluetooth, but that's not always possible. I don't remember having this problem with any other touchscreen phones though.
