Windows Insider question -- multiple devices

Hi all,

I have not participated in the Windows Insider program in quite some time. Since it now appears to be baked into the OS, i just wanted to verify a few things.

I am going to insider fast ring on my 950XL (not a daily driver). Switching on my non-primary device won't also change things on my main phone or my Surfaces, will it? Just wanted to make sure it is looks like a Windows 10 system setting now -- wanted to make sure it wasn't something that is synced.

No, you can safely set each device to the Insider Ring you prefer for it, and that setting is maintained, even if you are syncing everything else.

I have phones, PC's and tablets on various rings, and it all works beautifully.

Thanks, just wanted to verify. I have my Lumia 950XL going to fast ring to give it a try. I hear that an issue that has bothered me for a while is finally fixed... Outgoing emails only showing the email address in the header, not my name as well.
