Why does my camera just show green?

I have the HP Envy x360; I just got the computer for my birthday yesterday, so I wanted to take a group picture for my profile picture, but it just showed green. I closed the app and opened it back up about 5 times, but just showed a blank green screen. I then wiped on the camera to see if anything was on it, didn't even turn dark when my finger went over it.. Then I rebooted it and it still showed green..... The computer was only used 1 time for a review by a tech guy at Best Buy. Is there anything I can do?

Go to the HP Support website and enter your model number. Download the camera driver from there in case a generic one is installed that doesn't work.

Call HP support line.

Well if it's a day old i would take it back to Best Buy and have them look at it and if they can't fix get a new one.
