error opening file .pptx

I have got error message that the PowerPoint file is corrupted but it can still be opened (error Message is attached). I tried to re-save the file, but even after that I couldn't change nothing because the program shows a "not responding"message. Any idea what's causing this? and how can this be corrected?

MSG error: PowerPoint cannot display some text, images, or objects as slides in a file.

Ok so you CAN get the project open? Perhaps you can use copy and paste (or cut and paste) to transfer the text and images to a new project?
