    Defender is scheduled to run a quick scan daily - when check home page of Defender date of last scan has not changed for over a week - and in task scheduler the daily scan is listed. Have latest update 1803

    This is what I did: start menu > jump to 'w' > right-click on windows defender security center > more > app settings > wait for settings to launch and scroll down to find the reset option
