Touch pad issues on win 8 still on win 8.1

Anybody still having issues with their touch pads on a laptop, I am still see issues big time on customers laptops new and used running win 8 & 8.1.
Anybody else still having issues moving your finger and open something else while moving your finger on the touch pad.
I even tried installing a newer version software for both ALPS and SNAPTICS still to no avail.
Anybody having any luck yet? Or any answers that can help?

mine messes about a bit sometimes, but i checked for updates and since the updates it rarely does it now although it stops working for like 10 secs sometimes then comes back alive
