Why does Gestures Beta not work with my Lumia Icon?

I installed Gestures Beta when it was first released and restarted my phone, but it only shows two options for gestures, the answering when you lift to your ear and toggling speaker when it is placed display up on a flat surface. Those are the only two that show up, but they don't work with my Lumia Icon. Is this because the Icon hasn't gotten Lumia Denim? My grandfather is also having issues with his Icon, and we both have the developer previews downloaded. I don't know if that would make it an issue, but I just thought I'd throw that in there. Thanks!

I believe it is because we do not have Cyan or Denim

My uncle thought the same, (he also has an Icon), but I saw a review in the store, and someone with an Icon reviewed saying it worked great... I don't know if he/she was telling the truth or that they were just saying that.

I am on cyan with pfd 8.1 update 2 on my 620 and all gestures work fine on mine.
