So today my Line app for chatting is updated for both Windows 10 Desktop and Mobile. After the update, Line obtained Live Tiles even if the tile size was set to be small. I though that Live Tiles do not apply with small-sized tile?

N.B. I do not intend to bash the Line team for doing this. In fact, kudos to Line team for making this possible. This question is just pure curiosity.

I think it still can. It probably would have a number and no other info.

Actually, it is more than your typical number of unread messages... The Live Tiles also contain the recent message that I received as well as the profile picture of the person who sent it, shown interchangeably (a la Photos app).

If this is possible in Line app, I think that there is a certain trick to overcome the limitations of small-sized tiles. Image the possibilities!
