Nokia Lumia Screen Issue

My tablet won't turn on. As far as I know, it has been dropped. I haven't slammed it on the ground and there are no physical damage on the device. When I turn it on the screen is black. There is a little color line on the bottom. The screen flashes with big lines and then goes black again. And that's it.

Any ideas on what is happening?

Did you mean to say As far as I know, it has NOT been dropped...?

Sounds like it is out of power...and the screen is trying to power on and doesn't have enough juice to sustain the startup process.

I know that it didn't drop. I've had it in the charger over an hour and it's still not working. :'(

Have you held down the power button for 10 to 20 seconds to force it off instead of to sleep?
