Windows 8.1 update 1 on new 822 for straight talk
Ok so before I purchased my 822 from Amazon for a great price (same or cheaper than the silly straight talk phones) I did a lot of research online to make sure that this phone would work on ST including MMS and internet. I signed up for the Developer program so that I could get the most recent updates that are out. Since I have done this on wifi before I received my sim card for ATT, it doesn't look like the app that all the forums talk about "Access Point" works on this version. I click it in the settings and it thinks for a second then goes back to settings. I have tried a few different settings that the forums have but haven't had any luck yet. I love the phone it feels light years ahead of the old android phone I have but being an IT guy that checks the internet for trouble tickets ever 15 minutes I really need to be able to get online from my phone. Or maybe an update for Access Point is on the way idk. I will keep messing with it tho. If anyone has any tips please let me know.
