sad story. more sadly is that they do not release some last update with its end. i am still using a nokia lumia 820 and i sadly cant update it to win 10. it was said somewhere that win 10 mobile is lighter than windows phone 8.1 so i think that it might run the win 10 mobile. i cant even root my device like an android phone and install whatever OS i want into it

It's going to be a rolling support window as there are more iterations.

Although the winding down of mobile doesn't bode well for current phones beyond the next year.

But to be fair, not much has changed from a consumer point-of-view since Windows 10 Mobile launched.
